Austin from Holly, Mi Five to one is not the same as one in five, one in five is four to one. Jack from Lowell, Ma Rob and Lee are right. I think its about the younger generation taking over. Its tough to understand nowadays, but there really was a social revolution during the 60s.

"Waiting For The Sun" happens to be one of my two favorite Doors albums, along with "Strange Days", and it's hard to talk about one without mentioning the other. "Strange Days" lured us out of the Summer of Love with mystery, dark sensuality and hallucinatory suggestion; and the last track, the epic "When The Music's Over", pointed the way to /5().

Strange Days was released on September 25, , by Elektra perrelehydmanacmatumethpasscotos.cogh the album was quite successful, reaching No. 3 in the United States during a sixty-three-week chart stay in November , its impact was attenuated by the enduring success of the band's debut album, which remained in the Top Ten over ten months after its release during a week stay.

The Doors' success hardly encouraged them to abandon their try-anything ethos. And while Waiting for the Sun, their third album, was the first not to feature a minute-plus epic, it nonetheless was redolent of perrelehydmanacmatumethpasscotos.co, though more compact, still felt (and feels) like a major statement.

The closing track to the Doors' Waiting for the Sun album came at a time when the band certainly knew that their audience was looking for messages from them, and they didn't fail to deliver. Whether or not this is what they wanted to hear is another thing. The song is, on the surface, a message for mass revolution.

For people to be aware, Waiting For The Sun is a mono fold down. It still sounds somewhat different from the original stereo mixes. The only song that has a real mono mix on this album is Wintertime Love.
