Album Rating: "heaven can wait" would be a 5/5 song if it wasn't for the chorus, which literally ruins the whole thing. it's so bad. SymbolicInTime.

With such superb albums as Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave, Iron Maiden had forged a completely original heavy metal sound. Feeling that they'd taken it as far it could go, the band decided to broaden their sound with the use of synthesizers for their sixth studio album, 's Somewhere in many other metal bands used synths in the '80s to appeal to the pop.

Heaven Can Wait This song is by Iron Maiden and appears on the album Somewhere In Time () and on the compilation album Best Of Beast (). This song has been covered by Hellsongs under the title " Heaven Can Wait ". Can't understand what is happening to me.

This leaves you Somewhere in Time.. First off, this is by far the best if not the greatest Iron Maiden disc. This would be the very first Cd I bought of theirs when starting to buy CDs. I was hooked! From the atmospheric opening to the synth-driven Heaven Can Wait. Iron Maiden fire on all cylindars here and never slow down.

Somewhere In Time is Iron Maiden's Sgt. Pepper. It is a very polished album not to mention heavy. It still stands up today in terms of heaviness. If you want heaviness, it's there/5().

Although it is not a concept album, Somewhere In Time has a bit of a futuristic theme, which begins with the album cover. It is by far the most complex and detailed of Maiden’s album covers, reminiscent of the sci-fi masterpiece Blade Runner, and contains almost 40 references to other Maiden songs and trivia.

Sep 02,  · I can’t give you a good idea of what the song is trying to say, there are a varying amounts of interpretations. But that doesn’t detract from the song. If Iron Maiden every plays songs off this album live, I wouldn’t mind hearing this one. Track 4: Heaven Can Wait.

The weakest album from Iron Maiden's classic ‘80s period, Somewhere in Time is really the first true disappointment in their catalog, too often collapsing under the weight of their now-trademark ambition. Though it sold well on the heels of the hugely successful Powerslave tour, and is often regarded as underrated by Maiden devotees, it clearly finds the band struggling to refresh what was.
