    New Boots And Panties!! Was the debut album for Ian Dury, originally released on Stiff Records in It's considered Dury's best album and it was also his most successful after it was certified Platinum in the UK 2 years after it's release. This the most comprehensive version of the album to date.

    Oh, man, this tribute album is good! When The Clash, Elvis Costello, and The Sex Pistols were starting to really get it together in , one of the oddest recording acts of all time, Ian Dury and The Blockheads, launched with "New Boots and Panties" and the world hasn't been the same since/5(20).

    Jul 12,  · i have been a huge blockheads fan since 35 years now, today i found this lp at a record fair here in new york and since it is the original stiff pressing from i just had to grab this one, the thing with this lp that can confuse fans or collectors is sex, drugs and rock n roll IS NOT LISTED ON THE BACK OF THE LP SLEEVE but the song does indeed kick off side 2, if you dont have a /5(63).

    Apr 30,  · This Ian Dury - New Boots And Panties!! is the one that you want Graham. I went through release after release of this on CD before I went back to vinyl, and this was the only one free of clipping throughout (av. DR 15, Max DR 17, and boy can you hear it).
